FAQ
Straight answers, no runaround
Got questions? Good — here's everything people ask us before they sit in the chair. Still unsure? Call the shop at (520) 955-1937 and we'll talk it through.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Both. Walk-ins are welcome whenever we have an open chair — call ahead and we'll tell you the wait. For bigger pieces, book a free consult so your artist can draw it up right.
How old do I have to be?
18+ with a valid photo ID for tattoos, no exceptions — that's Arizona law and we don't bend it. Piercing age and ID rules vary by piercing type, so call us and ask.
Does it hurt?
Real talk: yeah, some spots sting more than others. But it's minutes-to-hours of discomfort for art you wear for life. Most people tell us it wasn't as bad as they built it up to be.
Can you cover up my old tattoo?
Probably. Cover-ups are one of our specialties — check our cover-up page for how it works. Bring it by the shop and we'll tell you straight what's possible.
Do you do touch-ups?
Touch-ups on our own work are free. If your ink needs a little love after it heals, come back and we'll take care of you.
How do I take care of a new tattoo?
We give you the full rundown in person, and it's all on our aftercare page. Short version: keep it clean, keep it lotioned, keep it out of the sun and the pool while it heals.
Can I bring a reference photo?
Please do. Reference pics help your artist see exactly what you're picturing. We'll build the design around your idea — not a copy-paste, your own piece.
Do you require a deposit?
For booked sessions, yes — it locks in your spot and goes toward your piece. Call the shop and we'll walk you through it.
